A Prayer for A Soft Life

Heavenly Father,

You are loving, gentle, kind, and merciful towards your chosen ones. And I thank You for choosing me.

Even when I fall short, it is with a compassionate correction that you call me back to You. You model what it means to be strong yet gentle. Let Your gentleness be evident in me for all who need a kind word this week.

Each day, clothe me in your compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience for all that is ahead.

Fill my conversations with grace to prepare me with a gentle answer for everyone. And in doing so, let Your love and power shine through my life so that more will come to know you as Father and Jesus as Lord and Savior.
